At Don Voyage, travel has always been more than just a hobby—it’s a way of life. For years, we found ourselves helping friends and family plan unforgettable trips, from weekend getaways to month-long European adventures. We loved sharing our knowledge, offering advice, and making travel easy and exciting for others. Over time, we realized we could do more than just plan vacations—we could create life-changing experiences.
We also saw a need for better, more personal study abroad and student travel assistance. Many parents and schools rely on large companies that treat them like just another booking. As locals living in Spain, we knew we could offer something different—real, hands-on guidance from people who truly care. We wanted to help young people expand their horizons, experience new cultures, and learn new languages, whether through studying abroad at top universities like the University of Salamanca or taking custom group trips during summer or school breaks.
Whether it’s helping individuals or families explore the world, assisting students in their study abroad journey, or organizing seamless school trips, we’re here to handle the details so you can focus on the experience. At Don Voyage, we make travel effortless, immersive, and unforgettable.
Our Story
We’re Tyler Roberts and Maria Sanchez Pablo—two passionate travelers who found each other while exploring the world. Tyler is from Nashville, Tennessee, and Maria is from Madrid, Spain. Our journey together began in 2016 when we met while traveling and working in Shanghai, China. We spent two incredible years there, building memories, exploring the vibrant city, and learning about China's wonderful culture. In late 2018, we made the move to Madrid, where we now call home.
Maria’s connection with China goes beyond just visiting—she actually lived there for over seven years, with time spent in Beijing, Xiamen, and Shanghai. We both speak English and Spanish fluently, whereas Maria also speaks Mandarin. This allows us to connect with people all over the globe.
Together, we’ve traveled to over 100 countries, and even more exciting, with our 2-year-old son, Liam, we’ve already been to 12 countries! Our travels are more than just vacations—they’re opportunities to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the world and experience personal growth by expanding our horizons and change how we view the world as a whole. Our favorite things to do are go off the beaten path, get lost in the beauty of new places, and, most of all—try new foods and eat as much of it as possible!
As parents ourselves, we especially love to help plan family vacations. We understand the challenges and excitement that come with traveling with little ones, and we’re here to make sure every moment counts for families like ours. Travel has always been our passion, and now we get to share that passion with you, making sure that every trip you take with us is just as special and memorable as our own.
